Do not Panic

We live in a world full of alarms and sirens signaling serious conditions, such as hospitals, police, and many more. Even in our homes, many people use alarm clocks to wake up. Well, the alarm clocks are like the problems we face daily that excites us to the point of panic.

It seems that the devil works overtime with God's people trying to push them into a state of alarm or panic. But I want to encourage you today; don't panic – turn off the alarm of your life, and believe Psalm 46:1

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though the waters thereof roar and be troubles, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof."

The psalmist is saying here that even if the world ends, we need not fear because we have a firm confidence that God is our refuge even in the face of total destruction.  I want you to believe this verse and know that in God we find protection.  He will come to our assistance and aid, even if we carry a heavy load of problems. Take a decision of will "therefore WILL not we fear"; take a decision not to fear and panic. "Turn off the Alarm"! God is always there to help, providing refuge, security and peace. God's power is complete and his ultimate victory is certain. He will not fail to rescue those who trust and love him.  Amen.
