In Order to experience the Power of the Word in our lives, we must have faith in the Word of God. The Word of God will increase our faith. Faith comes when we hear what God said. Romans 10:17 tells us "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." God told Joshua in 1:8 "Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night , so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."
We must believe that "whatsoever God says He is able to perform". Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind"? God has given us so many promises in His Bible and all we have to do is believe. Jesus said: "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God." Unfortunately, most of the people want to see first and then believe. Well, God's way is different; unless you believe you will not see the glory of God or any miracle in your life. Faith believes with the heart and not with the physical senses. The definition of faith is mentioned in Hebrews 11:1 "faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
Jesus said in Mark 11:22-23 "Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, that whatsoever shall say unto this mountain [a mountain means problems in your life] 'be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea' and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them".
Unfortunately, many Christians fail to receive miracles or have needs met because they can't activate their faith. "Saying" is action; action and words must be consistent with the Word of God. We must release the word of God and put it into action. The Bible says "faith calls those things that be not as though they were" (Romans 4:17).
For instance God promised in Philippians 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus". If we are in a financial need, we have to trust God's promise and learn to turn our faith loose and believe God's word to Jeremiah 1:12 "….I will hasten my word to perform it". We have to act in faith and obedience to God's Word. God created man in his image; that means that man is able to speak God's word into existence. Therefore, we should start filling our mouths with the Word of God until it begins overflowing in our lives. Start creating a better world by using God's powerful creative Word. Amen
Prayers: Dear God, help me to increase my faith, teach me to believe and say what you already said so "I can prosper and be in health". Amen
