The Power of the Word - Part 4

Since we are facing daily battles in our lives let me pick up more Scriptures to help you overcome problems. Learn to activate your faith by turning your faith loose.  We all come up against situations that are stronger than we are; but keep in mind that you are stronger than the situation you face; of course not in your own physical might, but in the strength of the Lord. So please stop talking about the problem because the more you talk about the problem, the greater it becomes; instead, begin to meditate on the word of God and remember Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

More Scriptures you desperately need to meditate on:

Are you sick? Do you need physical healing, even when your physician told you there is no hope? Well, God has the last word. Don't give up, keep meditating;

Psalm 30:2: "O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me".

Psalm 91:14-16: "Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and shew him my salvation"?

Exodus 15:26: "…..I am the LORD that healeth thee".

Psalm 118:17 "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord."

James 5:14: "Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord"

Matthew 8:17: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses".

The Word of God teaches us that Jesus paid the price for our healing on the cross. In 1 Peter 2:24 "Who (Jesus) his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree (cross), that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."

The stripes that Jesus took in his body were the price for our healing! " We were healed" is in the past tense, so it has been paid for already, all you have to do is to have faith and ask for it! "Ask and it shall be given unto you."

Do you want children?  Keep meditating on Psalm 127:3: "Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward". Psalm 128:6: Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children". Deuteronomy 28:4 "Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body".

I can go on and on and write more promises, in fact in the Bible we find more than 900 promises; but we have to have faith to be able to get all the promises of God fulfilled in our lives. All it takes to please God is faith. Faith makes the promises become realities.

Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him".

Some people have faith, yet the promises are not fulfilled in their lives? Well, we can't live by faith and not have a moral standard in our lives; we are expected to live by certain moral codes of the Bible. But without faith these moral and ethical rules become of no effect. That's the reason why many people believe God for certain things, yet they are not receiving anything – because their morals and ethics are not in line with what they are confessing and believing.

Galatians 6:7: "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap".

Finally, know (Romans 8:28) "that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose".

Amen

Reading:  Psalm  103

Prayer: Dear God, I know that "without faith I cannot please you". Lord you told the woman with the fountain of blood when she touched you and received her healing "Daughter thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace and be whole of thy plague" (Mark 5:34)  Please increase my faith so that I can please you and live in victory. Amen.
